Mainboard A printed circuit board that holds all other devices in places and ensures communications between all devices. Also referred to as the "motherboard".

Modem A hardware device that allows communications between computers over telephone lines. Most Landau sites use Netcomm (pictured) or Auslinx modems.

Monitor The display screen, which may be a standard screen or a LCD flat panel. Please note that turning of the screen does not turn off the tower.
Moor's Law Originated by Gordon Moor, one of the fathers of the microprocessor. Moor predicted that the number of transistors on a chip, and hence their speed and power - would double every 18 months.
Mouse A pointing device held in the hand.
