Network	A group of computers and other hardware connected to each other and communicating together. Your cluster of work computers may be a network. The Internet is the ultimate worldwide network
Network Cable	The data cable that connects your computers through to the network switch. Usually blue in colour with transparent end, similar to telephone cable ends, but larger.
Network Router	A hardware device that connects your network to the Internet through either broadband (ADSL or Cable) or a dial-up connection. Routers sold be Landau are either D-Link, Dynalink or Netgear brands and come with a one-year manufacturer's warranty.

Network Switch	A hardware device that controls the flow of data traffic between computers. All switches sold by Landau technologies since 2001 are the Netgear brand and have a minimum five-year manufacturer's warranty on the actual switch and one-year manufacturer's warranty on the external power supply. The model numbers are usually FS105, FS108, FS116, FS524 and generally they are blue in colour and look like:
