The process of getting equipment back and forth in a timely fashion is just as important as technical expertise. There is no point having it fixed, sitting on a shelf.

Our experience has shown that all businesses; regardless of whether they are medical practices, engineering workshops or office supplies need to have an account with at least one courier. Within Brisbane, Redcliffe and Ipswich we use Couriers Please (1300 36 1000) A list of courier firms can be found on our Links page. Having an account ready is good not just for IT equipment, but any  deliveries to or from the business. Follow the Links below for addresses for the following companies:

The following guidelines apply when sending any computer equipment via couriers or post to Landau Technologies:

• All equipment should be double bubble-wrapped. We find the wrap with the smaller bubbles to work very effectively. Thus keeping a role of bubble-wrap handy is a good idea.

• All equipment must be boxed. Many courier companies will not accept equipment that is not boxed. Keeping a couple of different sized boxed laid/standing flat is also a good idea.

• The outside label must be clearly marked with the name and address of the receiving person or company. Our delivery address is

• It is also important to mark on the box your contact details as the sender, including phone, fax and e-mail.

• It is a good idea to record the booking number, consignment number, time and date of the pickup so that the delivery can be tracked should anything go astray.
  

• All computers sent to Landau Technologies for service or setup, regardless of whether the computer has been sent under warranty of out-of-warranty, must be cleared of all offensive material. All pornographic or lewd material must be removed prior to delivery to our office; all such material found on any computers presented for service or setup will be deleted and the client invoiced for the time involved.
